Project Overview

Big Air AC is a Florida-based air conditioning service company serving homeowners across Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and surrounding Southwest Florida communities. The business needed its website to do more than look presentable. It had to help local customers understand services quickly, trust the company, and take action when an AC problem could not wait.

When Ecomgiantz stepped in, the existing website UX was broken in several important areas. Our goal was to rebuild the experience from the user journey up, starting with UI/UX design in Figma and then translating the approved interface into a responsive Wix website.

We were focused on making the website easier to navigate, service inquiries easier to complete, and creating a professional visual system for a trustworthy local HVAC brand. This approach combined Wix website development, HVAC website redesign, and conversion-focused UI/UX design.

What Big Air AC Actually Needed from Ecomgiantz

Big Air AC did not need a cosmetic refresh. It needed a reliable service website that could support real customer decisions, especially users arriving with urgent repair needs. The redesigned site had to organize multiple AC services clearly, make calls and online bookings easy to find, and build confidence.

  • A full website redesign with a cleaner, more modern service-business interface.
  • A UX structure that guides visitors from problem recognition to the right service and next action.
  • A dependable contact and inquiry experience instead of a broken or unclear form flow.
  • Responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
  • A Wix build that the business could continue managing after launch.

The Initial Problems

Website redesign challenges for Big Air AC, including poor user experience, lack of CRO-focused layout, and weak mobile responsiveness

The existing website created friction at the exact moment a local customer needed clarity. A broken experience, weak hierarchy, and missing conversion structure can quickly reduce trust for an HVAC provider. Because visitors often arrive with time-sensitive needs.

1. Broken Website Experience

Core parts of the site were not working as a connected user journey. Visitors could reach the website, but the page structure did not consistently move them toward the service information, contact option, or next step they needed.

2. No CRO-Focused Layout

The previous layout did not prioritize high-intent actions such as calling, booking service, requesting help, or exploring a specific AC service. Important information competed for attention instead of following a clear sequence built around customer urgency and trust.

3. Non-Functional or Unreliable Form Experience

For a local service business, a form is not a decorative element. It is a lead-capture point. The existing form experience did not provide the dependable route needed for users who preferred to submit a request instead of calling.

4. Weak Responsive Consistency

The website needed stronger layout control across different screen sizes. In home-service search journeys, many visitors arrive on mobile. So inconsistent spacing, content order, button placement, or section behavior can become a usability issue.

Challenges We Faced

The three-week timeline meant design and development could not operate as two disconnected phases. We had to keep visual decisions practical for Wix, preserve the client’s service information, and test the build continuously.

  • Reorganizing existing content without making the site feel unfamiliar to returning customers.
  • Balancing strong calls to action with enough service detail to support informed decisions.
  • Designing for urgent HVAC users who may scan rather than read every section.
  • Translating Figma layouts into Wix while keeping spacing, hierarchy, and responsive behavior consistent.
  • Making contact points easy to notice without turning the page into an aggressive sales experience.

Our Solution: From Figma UX to Responsive Wix Development

Big Air AC website redesign process showing Figma UI/UX design, Wix development, conversion optimization, and responsive testing

We approached the project as a service journey. Before development, we mapped the main actions a homeowner should be able to take quickly: identify the relevant AC service, understand why Big Air is credible, call the team, or book online.

1. Designed the Full UI/UX in Figma

We created the website interface in Figma first. So the hierarchy, page flow, service presentation, calls to action, and visual direction could be reviewed before development. This reduced rework inside Wix and gave the team a clear design reference for desktop and responsive implementation.

The layout was structured around service intent. High-value actions received stronger placement, supporting information was grouped logically, and trust content was positioned close to decision points.

2. Rebuilt the Website on Wix

After the interface was approved, Ecomgiantz developed the site on Wix. The build focused on reusable sections, clear service navigation, prominent call and booking actions, readable content blocks, and a visual system.

The live website now presents individual pathways for AC repair, emergency repair, installation, maintenance, indoor air quality, financing, reviews, service areas, FAQs, and contact. This gives users multiple entry points without losing the main conversion routes.

3. Strengthened Conversion and Trust Signals

We organized the experience. So trust and action appear together. The finished site prominently features direct phone access, online booking, service explanations, reviews, service-area information, and proof-oriented messaging. These elements help reduce uncertainty for visitors.

4. Tested Responsive Behavior Across the Site

Responsiveness was checked page by page rather than treated as a final adjustment. We refined section spacing, content stacking, button behavior, navigation, and readability. So the same journey remains understandable on smaller screens.

This was especially important for a local AC service brand because mobile visitors often need to call or book quickly. The final layout keeps core actions visible and reduces the number of steps between service discovery and contact.

Results & Project Impact We Brought

Results of the Big Air AC website redesign, highlighting service pathways, lead generation, customer reviews, and local service coverage

Within 3 weeks, we transformed Big Air AC’s broken website into a responsive, conversion-focused Wix experience built around clearer services, stronger trust signals, and easier customer actions.

10+ Clear Service and Customer Pathways

The redesigned website now gives visitors direct access to AC repair, emergency repair, installation, maintenance, indoor air quality, financing, FAQs, service areas, reviews, and contact options. Customers can reach the information they need without working through a confusing page structure.

Multiple Lead-Generation Paths

Instead of relying on a single contact form, the new website supports calls, online booking, instant quote options, and service-specific CTAs. This gives customers different ways to take action depending on their needs and urgency.

500+ Five-Star Reviews Brought Forward

We integrated Big Air AC’s existing trust signals more prominently into the user journey. The live site highlights 500+ five-star Google reviews, a 5.0 rating, and 24/7 emergency availability. These help potential customers build confidence before they make contact.

10 Local Service Areas Supported

The website now provides dedicated access to 10 Southwest Florida service locations, including Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Estero, Bonita Springs, and surrounding areas. This creates a clearer experience for customers searching for location-specific AC services.
