Brightway Pets, a passionate pet wellness brand founded by devoted animal lovers, needed a complete Shopify store built from the ground up. Their mission: to provide high-quality, trustworthy supplements that support pets’ health and happiness — all while delivering a warm, authentic shopping experience. With a clear vision and deep love for pets, they turned to us to bring their brand to life online — from design and development to product listings and Amazon integration. As a startup with no prior eCommerce infrastructure, they needed an end-to-end partner to turn their heartfelt mission into a fully functional, customer-ready Shopify store.

Challenges

1. Zero-to-Launch Store Build

The client approached us without any prior Shopify setup — no store, no theme, and no technical foundation. This required a complete store setup from scratch, including Shopify account creation, environment configuration, and development planning.

5. Seamless Domain Transition

Brightway Pets needed their custom domain migrated from an external registrar and fully pointed to Shopify hosting, with DNS settings correctly configured. The challenge was to ensure a secure HTTPS setup and zero downtime, particularly as the brand was preparing for public launch and initial marketing campaigns.

6. App Ecosystem Design for Growth

We had to identify, install, and configure essential third-party Shopify apps tailored for a new store. These included apps for product reviews (with UGC), abandoned cart recovery, SEO optimization, speed enhancement, and email automation — with minimal recurring cost and strong compatibility with the customized theme.

7. Product Listing & Categorization

The client’s initial product list was not in Shopify-compatible format. We restructured it, uploaded optimized listings with tags, variants, and metafields, and created clean navigation with clearly segmented product categories.

8. Mobile-First Optimization

Brightway Pets expected the majority of their customers to browse from mobile. We ensured the entire site — from custom sections to product pages — delivered a seamless experience on all screen sizes, optimizing both UX and speed.

9. Launch Readiness & Testing
